Benzoin(Styrax tonkinensis)
Benzoin is obtained by solvent extaction. It is a very thick golden liqiud which is usually diluted in di-Propyl Glycol to make it easier to use.
It has a rich, warm, slightly woody, creamy aroma similar to Vanilla.
Uses:In aromatherapy Benzoin is used for arthritis, bronchitis, chapped skin, coughing, laryngitis and stress
Caution: Possible skin sensitivity and contact dermatitis.
