Health Properties: Use as an antiseptic, cools the body & relieves fevers. The oil breathed in will help clear the sinuses, as will the steam from boiling the leaves. When mixed with water or vegetable oils, it makes a good insect repellant. A small drop on the tongue eases nausea.
Cleansing Soap
1lb melt & pour soap
1/4oz essential or fragrance eucalyptus oil
8oz boiling water
4oz eucalyptus leaf
Melt soap in a double boiler or in a microwave at 50% power, with water. Stir eucalyptus leaf into the soap slowly, when soap has melted, in one direction (to avoid air bubbles) with a non-metallic spoon. Let cool slightly--but still pourable--add scent
